We would like to welcome Angi Dabbelt as the new head varsity volleyball coach at Dayton Christian. Angi is no stranger to Dayton Christian Schools as she has been the head middle school volleyball coach for the last two seasons and an assistant junior high basketball coach. Coach Dabbelt has been playing and coaching volleyball for over 25 years. She graduated from Wright State University where she attended on a full volleyball scholarship. After graduation, she joined the Ohio Valley Region of USA volleyball team. She has had coaching stints at Beavercreek High School and with the Dayton Juniors volleyball team. Coach Dabbelt is committed to Jesus, has a love for developing Christian student-athletes, and exhibits a strong passion for volleyball and interscholastic athletics where students can build lifelong skills! Angi is married to Jake, a 1994 DC graduate. They have three children: Olivia, Matthew and Samuel, all whom attend Dayton Christian.
Parents and prospective volleyball players can visit with Coach Dabbelt on Monday night, Feb. 26 in room D108 from 6:00-7:00pm to learn more about the volleyball program and the upcoming fall season.
