Food Drive 2017

Warrior Students and Families!

Food Drive 2017 is in full swing at the high school! This year, Dayton Christian High School is collaborating with the Dayton City Gospel Mission, a comprehensive inner-city mission near Dayton, Ohio whose goal is provide the needy with food, shelter, and activities that will develop a Biblical worldview and restore them to their communities. Our goal at DCHS is to provide the Dayton City Gospel Mission with 100 boxes to stock their pantry. Each class has been given a goal to help us reach our goal as a high school based on how many students are in each class. The class goals are as follows:

Freshman Class: 27 boxes

Sophomores: 23 boxes

Juniors: 22 boxes

Seniors: 28 boxes

 

Each box will be comprised of the following items:

Canned Green Beans

Canned Corn

Laundry Detergent (No Tide!)

Toothpaste (full size)

Toothbrush

Shampoo & Conditioner

Soap

Box of Trash Bags

Bottle of Juice

Lysol Wipes

Jar of Spaghetti Sauce

Box of Spaghetti Noodles

Mac n’ Cheese (family size)

Peanut Butter

Strawberry/Grape Jelly

Cereal Box

Oreo/Chips Ahoy Cookies

Paper Napkins

Paper Towels

Toilet Paper

Canned Protein (tuna, chicken, Spam)

 

You can help each class and DCHS to meet their goal by contributing materials or making monetary donations to the food drive. Charitable donations are tax deductible.  Please make all checks out to Dayton Christian High School. All materials are due Friday, March 10.
