The Ohio Department of Education has extended all nonpublic and homeschool students’ Funding Application deadline to April 22, 2016. This will give all students who are awaiting acceptance letters to finalize CCP funding requests more time to receive them, upload them, and submit in their SAFE Account.
Need help? Please visit this webpage and view the SAFE account help video along with links to several help files for completing this process.
Mrs. Reynolds will be meeting with all students who are attempting enrollment in a Dual Enrollment class at DCS during lunch today to alert them to any outstanding items. VERY IMPORTANT: Students taking Dual Enrollment Psychology need to take the ACT and have scores sent to Mount Vernon on April 9th or June 11th if they have not already taken. Please email email@example.com if you have any questions.
Help Tips From a Guidance Director AND Parent’s Perspective
- Make sure that the fiscal year in your SAFE account is set to 2016-2017 when you request funding for credit hours.
- Request more hours than your child plans on taking to ensure that you receive funding for as much as your student wants to take should they decide to add on other courses.
- Make sure you upload the college acceptance letter and HIT SUBMIT by the April 22 deadline.
- Try to stay sane in this crazy process!
