On Monday the College and Career Tour visited Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky not far from Lexington. Asbury is a small, Christian University with an incredibly friendly student body with a strong sense of community. Asbury offers some great scholarships to help make education affordable. The school also offers summer scholar programs, and dual enrollment courses for high schoolers. Online courses, graduate programs, and other programs for adult education are also available at the school.
After concluding a delightful visit to Asbury University, the group took off to visit Music City. They ended the night with a rowdy couple games of bowling and a little bit of sleep. On Tuesday they visited Lipscomb University and Belmont University. Both schools boast an impressive campus and wide selection of majors and creative study opportunities. A bit of fun was had visiting Opry Mills and Rain Forest Cafe. The fun in Nashville will continue on Wednesday with a visit to Vanderbilt University and Trevecca Nazarine before heading to Union University in Jackson, TN, Indiana Wesleyan, and Taylor in Indiana for the rest of the week.
