DC Football Warriors Soar with the Eagles

The DC Football Warriors strutted their stuff last Friday against the Landmark Christian Eagles, scoring a season high 50 points compared to the Eagles 14 points.  A total of 7 touchdowns were scored by Jaymen McDonald, Evin Butler (with 2!), Tywon Berry (with 3!), and Ricarie Howard, with both Shawn Van Noy and Sam Griswold quarterbacking for the team.  Not only was the crowd delighted by the action-packed game, but everyone was blessed to enjoy the catchy tunes of our wonderful pep band (that we missed at the last home game due to rain) as well as the enthusiastic cheers from our amazing varsity cheerleaders.  The DC Football Warriors cannot thank the band, cheerleaders, and dedicated fans enough for their support.  Thanks also go to the many volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to make sure all of the details for the game are covered and that the game goes off without a hitch.  Team moms who feed our boys, ticket takers, chain gang members, concession workers, site managers, announcer, score keeper, videographer, photographer, (and anyone I accidentally forgot!) … WE SALUTE YOU!  Your efforts do not go unnoticed and they are very much appreciated!!!

Our next home game is HOMECOMING this Friday, 9/25 at 7:00 p.m. against St. Bernard-Elmood at West Carrollton Middle School, 424 E. Main St., Dayton.  Hope to see you there.  GO WARRIORS!!
