The stands were full of people and enthusiasm as the DC Football Warriors kicked off the season, showing how their hard work and dedication is paying off. With over 200 yards of offense, quarterback Sean Van Noy orchestrated 7 touchdowns scored by Ricarie Howard (2), Tywon Berry (2), Evin Butler, Sam Griswold, and Sean Van Noy ran in a TD as well. While an injured Hillcrest player lay on the field getting medical attention, the DC Football Warriors gathered together to pray for him. Both Godly character and talent graced the field this week. It was also exciting to see the DC Youth Football Warriors and Cheerleaders on the field at halftime, providing sweet smiles and DC spirit. The next football game is away at Eastern this Friday. The next home game is Friday, 9/11 at 7:00 p.m. versus Bethel HS. GO WARRIORS!
